Turn your MP3 into a lyric video
You have the song as an MP3 file and the words in a note. That is all Lyriclip needs. Upload the file, paste the lyrics, choose a style, and you get a lyric video where each word appears exactly when it is sung.

Text description of this video
An origami lyric video: folded paper mountains, a paper heart and a paper clock, then changing paper backdrops, with the English words appearing in time with the singing. The song's audio plays with the video.
Text description of this video
A watercolour lyric video of soft washes of colour on paper: pastel blooms, a painted sun, a small couple, a clock and a heart. The French words appear in time with the singing, in hand-lettered and serif styles on painted labels. The song's audio plays with the video.
Text description of this video
A pixel-art lyric video of a rainy tram ride, drawn entirely in code in a limited palette with one red umbrella. The Czech words appear in time with the singing, each line in its own pixel lettering, with a small equalizer in every scene. The song's audio plays with the video.
Which audio files work
Lyriclip takes the audio file of your finished song: MP3, WAV, M4A, FLAC, OGG and AAC all work, up to 95 MB. A file saved from a messaging app with a name like song.mp3.mpeg is fine too: the server reads what is inside the file, not just its name. Use the final mix, with the vocal in it, because the timing comes from the singing. A higher quality file gives a better sounding video, but a normal MP3 is enough for the timing.
From MP3 to video, step by step
- Upload your MP3 and paste the lyrics, one line per sung line.
- Confirm that you made the song or control its rights.
- Pick a style, or let Lyriclip choose one that fits.
- Watch the free preview of 12 to 15 seconds. It has a watermark and usually arrives within a few minutes.
- Fix any word that is off, or press "Try another version" for a different version (up to 3 free per song).
- Pay $29 and download the full video in 16:9, 1080p.
Why you paste the lyrics yourself
Speech recognition mishears sung words, especially names, slang, repeated hooks and words in more than one language. So Lyriclip does not guess the lyrics from your MP3. You give the words, and the AI only has to find when each one is sung. That keeps your spelling and your line breaks, and it is why the words land on the beat instead of drifting.
How the words follow the singing
AI audio models listen to the vocal in your file and mark the moment each word starts. Long notes stay on screen while they are held, quick words come and go in time, and an instrumental break stays free of text. Scenes and colours follow the meaning of your lyrics, and the lettering moves with the beat. If one word still lands early or late, you can move it in the preview before you pay.
What you get
One 16:9 widescreen video of the whole song in 1080p, ready for YouTube, with a download link valid for 90 days. After you buy you can fix your lyrics and re-render up to 2 times at no charge. If something is wrong because of us, such as a missing word or a file that does not play, we re-render it free. Refunds are possible within 30 days of payment if you have not downloaded the full file.
Before you upload
Check that the MP3 is the final version, that the lyrics match what is actually sung (repeated choruses included), and that the song is yours or you hold the rights to it, lyrics included. We do not make videos for other people's songs.

Questions
Can I upload an MP3?
Yes. MP3, WAV, M4A, FLAC, OGG and AAC files up to 95 MB all work.
Do I need a separate vocal track?
No. Upload the finished song with the vocal in it. The timing comes from the singing in the mix.
Does Lyriclip write the lyrics from the audio?
No. You paste the lyrics, and the AI finds when each word is sung. That way nothing is misheard.
How long does the preview take?
Usually a few minutes. The preview is 12 to 15 seconds long, free and watermarked.
How much does the full video cost?
$29 per song for one 16:9 video in 1080p. Any tax that applies is added at checkout.
