Text description of this video
A lyric video in a stop-motion paper cut-out style: a purple dusk sky, a figure sitting on a hill looking out, falling autumn leaves and a glowing candle. The English words appear in time with the singing, in paper lettering. The song's audio plays with the video.
Text description of this video
A hand-drawn sketchbook-style lyric video: watercolour washes in pink, lilac, ochre and green, thin pencil outlines of hills, a moon, a house and a mushroom. The German words appear with the singing in changing handwritten and typewriter letters. The song's audio plays with the video.
Text description of this video
A lyric video on a green chalkboard. The Italian words are written in chalk in time with the singing, with chalk drawings beside them: a house with a window, two figures, hearts, suns and a musical staff. The song's audio plays with the video.
Why a lyric video works on YouTube
On YouTube a song needs something to watch. A still cover image gives viewers little reason to stay, and a full music video takes a shoot, a crew and weeks of planning that most releases do not have. A lyric video sits in between: people read along, learn the chorus and come back to the line they liked. For a new song it is often the first video fans find when they search for the title.
Made in the shape YouTube uses
16:9 widescreen is the usual shape of a YouTube video. Lyriclip delivers the full video as one 16:9 file in 1080p, so it fills the player on a laptop, a TV and in the YouTube app when the phone is turned sideways. You download the file and upload it to your channel like any other video. Lyriclip does not post to YouTube for you and does not need access to your channel.
From your song to a YouTube video
- Upload the audio file of your finished song (MP3, WAV, M4A, FLAC, OGG or AAC) and paste the lyrics, one line per sung line.
- Confirm that you made the song or control its rights, lyrics included.
- Pick a style from more than 25 looks, or let Lyriclip choose one that fits.
- Watch the free preview of 12 to 15 seconds with a watermark, usually within a few minutes. Press "Try another version" for a different look, up to 3 free versions per song.
- Pay $29 and download the whole song as one 16:9 video in 1080p.
- Upload it to your channel, with the song title and your name in the video title.
Words that follow the singing
Each word enters at the moment it is sung, found by AI audio models that listen to the vocal in your song. Long notes stay on screen while they are held, and instrumental breaks stay free of text. The scenes and colours follow the meaning of your lyrics, so the video belongs to your song and does not look like a template. If a word lands early or late, move it in the preview before you order. After you buy, you can fix your lyrics and re-render up to 2 times at no charge.
Before you upload to YouTube
- Use only a song you made or whose rights you control. Rights on YouTube are your responsibility; Lyriclip does not clear a song for you.
- Put the lyrics in the video description too, if you wish: viewers and search can read them there.
- Keep the downloaded file safe. The download link stays valid for 90 days.
