How to make a lyric video
A lyric video shows the words of your song on screen, timed to the singing. Here is how to make one from a finished song, step by step.
What you need
- The finished song as an audio file.
- The lyrics as text, one line per sung line.
- The rights: the song is yours, or you control its rights.
The steps
- Upload the song and paste the lyrics Your words are used as you write them. They are not guessed from the audio.
- Watch the free preview The engine picks the look from your song. You see a real 12 to 15 second preview with a watermark. Not what you imagined? Try another version: up to 3 free versions per song.
- Fix a word if you need to Order the full video, then fix any word. You get 2 free word fixes, each with a re-render.
- Download three formats The full video comes in 16:9, 9:16 and 1:1, with no watermark. The process is automatic.
How the words are synced
Audio models find the moment each word is sung. Every word then enters at that moment and leaves with the line. Long notes stay on screen while they are sung.
Formats
One order gives you 16:9 for YouTube, 9:16 for Reels, Shorts and TikTok, and 1:1 for feed posts. Lyric video sizes and formats
Rights
