CapCut auto lyrics or a ready-made lyric video?
CapCut is a video editor with an auto lyrics feature. Lyriclip is not an editor at all. Which one suits you depends on how much of the work you want to do yourself.

What CapCut auto lyrics does
It detects singing in your clip and adds timed text that you can then style in the editor. In January 2026, CapCut's help pages said the feature is in the mobile app, not the web or desktop versions, and that it may not be available in every country. It suits short phone videos, and CapCut can make vertical clips, which Lyriclip does not.
What you do yourself in an editor
- Choose or shoot the background.
- Correct the words that were heard wrongly.
- Style and place the text, line after line, for the length of the song.
What Lyriclip does
You upload the finished song and paste the lyrics, so the words are yours and are not guessed from the audio. You pick one of 28 styles, and the video is made for you: lettering on the singing, and scenes chosen from your words. There is nothing to edit, and you cannot edit it by hand either.
A simple way to decide
- A 15-second clip for your phone: an editor like CapCut is the natural choice.
- A full song for YouTube, with no editing: that is what Lyriclip is for.
- Full control of every frame: use an editor, and expect to spend the time.
