A lyric video for music producers and beat makers

You finish tracks, not videos. If a track has vocals and you control its rights, a lyric video gives it a release on YouTube without taking time away from the studio.

Text description of this video

A lyric video in three colourful worlds: a rainbow sky with clouds, a purple sunset over waves, and a burst of blue and teal rays. The words appear with the singing in large letters, and on the peak words the letters gather out of small particles. Small drawings sit beside the words they belong to: keys, a flower pot, a cat, a peach, shoes. An equalizer moves along the bottom edge. The song's audio plays with the video.

Which tracks work

  • Songs with sung or rapped vocals that you produced and control.
  • Tracks made with a singer or rapper, when you have agreed who holds the rights.
  • Tracks in any of the song languages on the site, with lyrics as text.

Which tracks do not

The video is built from the words, so an instrumental or a beat with no vocals has nothing to show. A type beat for sale is not a fit either, because there is no finished song yet.

Working with an artist

If you upload a track for an artist you work with, you need to control the rights, or have their agreement that you can. Sort that out first, along with who will publish the video. The guide on collabs covers the questions to ask.

Getting clean sync

Upload the final mix, because that is the audio the video will carry. Paste the lyrics as they are performed, one line per sung line, and include any repeats you want on screen. Then listen to the free preview of 12 to 15 seconds with the vocal in mind.

Several tracks

Each song is its own order at $29, with its own free preview and up to 3 free versions. You can pick a different look from the 28 styles for each one.
